ATC

ATC stands for artist trading cards. They are collectables. ATCs are not meant for sale but for swap/exchange. Swaps are generally one card for one card. The size of ATC is 2.5" x 3.5". It can be made vertical or horizontal. Usually on the back of each ATC the artist writes their name, contact information, title of the ATC and number if it's part of an edition.

ATC can be made from cardstock, chipboard or any kind of materials. As for how to do the ATC, the possibilities are endless. Just to name a few, you can paint them, stamp on them, use ink pads, alchohol ink, utee, embossing, doodle etc etc.

Here are some of my latest ATCs. I've used some of my new stamps (they will be available at Scrappingchix real soon, haven't upload them yet *wink*)for these ATCs...

If you want to swap ATCs for me feel free to email at naja78(at)yahoo.com

Universal Children's Day

20th November 2009 is the Universal Children's Day. Children's Day was first celebrated worldwide in October 1953 in Geneva to encourage all countries to institute a day, firstly to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children and secondly to initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the world's children. It was also chosen as the day to celebrate childhood.

So there's more reason to scrap photos of your children, nieces, nephews, baby cousins, baby sisters/brothers or even your own childhood photo! If you would like to share yours, feel free to email me at naja78(at)yahoo(dot)com :)

First two submission by Yatie. Lovely LOs of her beloved daughter. Enjoy the slideshow
